I’m a mid-30 year old mother runner of two boys. I started running in the spring of 2010 while I was losing 75 pounds of post baby weight 4 years after my youngest was born. While losing weight I realized I really love to run (now if only my body would cooperate more).

In January of 2011 I decided to train for my first ever half marathon that spring and by the fall I ran 2 within 14 days and was a Half Fanatic (I told you I realized I love to run!). My favorite runs are long runs between the 7 to 11 mile range. I still am amazed at how much I enjoy running as I could not run an entire mile during high school without taking multiple walk breaks.
